The mission of both STC&U and Shrewsbury Town FC Foundation is to utilise the power of sport to engage, inspire and strengthen our local community and take Shrewsbury Town into the heart of the Shropshire, empowering people to realise their potential and achieve their goals.
Our connection with Shrewsbury Town Football Club allows our students to gain experience while studying industry-recognised qualifications, that will put them at the forefront of gaining employment in the future. With the backing of Shrewsbury Town FC, we are committed to developing the workforce within the sports industry and provide them with the knowledge and skills to prepare them for the future.
We aim to deliver a service that can be judged as ‘first class’ by participants, funders and community partners, and to deliver the best education for students by having a passionate, trained workforce of coaches, mentors, teachers, and role models.
